Kuipers founded Health Optimization Medicine Europe with a single conviction: that medicine should do more than wait for disease. A registered General Practitioner (huisarts) in the Dutch medical system, he remains active in general practice — ensuring he stays grounded in conventional medicine while advancing health optimization.

He has worked with elite athletes, special forces operators, entrepreneurs, and executives — bringing the same rigorous, data-driven approach to each. He was mentored directly by Theodore Achacoso and is one of a select group of European physicians certified to practise the HOMe/HOPe framework. He conducts all consultations, reviews all diagnostics, and designs each client's personalised intervention. His goal is precise: to help people do what they love, to the best of their ability, for as long as possible.

Theodore Achacoso, MD

Achacoso is one of the most quietly accomplished physician-scientists alive. He founded Health Optimization Medicine and Practice in 2009 — establishing the first clinical specialty in the world to define a standard of care for health itself. He has since trained a global faculty of practitioners.

His career defies conventional specialisation. He earned his medical degree at 22 and went on to pioneer work across interventional neuroradiology, pharmacology, interventional endocrinology, medical informatics, and artificial intelligence — where he is recognised as one of the early founders of the field. He holds board certifications in both nutritional medicine and anti-aging medicine from Paris, and has held research and clinical positions across Manila, Washington DC, Paris, and Brussels. For decades, he has personally optimized the health of world leaders, executives, and elite performers.

Within this practice, Achacoso is not an advisor. He co-manages the clinical operation alongside Kuipers — contributing to complex case design, protocol refinement, and the direct application of the HOMe/HOPe standard of care in a European clinical setting. A level of involvement found nowhere else in the field.

Health Optimization Medicine and Practice (HOMe/HOPe) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organisation and the governing body behind Health Optimization Medicine worldwide. Founded by Theodore Achacoso, MD, it sets the clinical standards, trains and certifies physicians, and oversees a growing network of practitioners across multiple continents — all operating under a single, unified diagnostic and therapeutic framework.

Health Optimization Medicine Europe is a direct clinical extension of this organisation. Our protocols, reference ranges, and practitioner training are held to the same global standard as every certified HOMe/HOPe practice worldwide. What you receive here is not one clinic's methodology — it is a clinically validated, globally standardised system of care.
